Dear Friends of
Captured Ambiance:

Thank you for your for your valuable support -- for
allowing us to share your dream of paradise. For us, the
dream began with travel; first to Aruba, then to
Martinique, then to Virgin Gorda. Soon we were sailing
the Caribbean. We've sailed from the Virgin Islands to
the southern tip of Grenada. We have been fortunate to
have experienced St. John, USVI as property owners.

Most importantly, you have trusted us to deliver quality
art work, and you have incorporated the sights and
sounds that we have captured into your busy life. We
know what that means. We, too, have spent years, first
achieving Master's Degrees -- Ed in Electrical
Engineering and Laurie in Computer Science. Ed's thesis
was in Fourier Color Holography, working on archival
techniques for the Library of Congress. We worked in
the corporate world for over twenty years -- at Bell
Laboratories. During that time, Ed worked in voice and
audio processing and is the holder of nine patents.
Throughout those years, we never lost sight of our
dream of paradise. We valued and savored every
moment that we managed to spend in paradise, and we
learned to see paradise in everything we did -- shared
moments at home, nearby camping trips in New Jersey,
hikes in the local parks. We eventually learned that the
sights and sounds of paradise are everywhere -- just
waiting to be appreciated.

Through the encouragement of friends, Ed has been
able to turn a hobby of recording natural sounds and
photography into a business. In 1998, he began selling
his first nature CD, Dawn Melody, and he registered the
domain NaturalSounds.com. We still use that url, as well
as NatureCD.com, but when we created our company, we
were encouraged by our patrons and the other artists
who have joined us, to choose a name that represents
the complete portfolio -- Captured Ambiance. We are
privileged to spend our days capturing ambiance for you.
