been a fixture in St. John
for many years, serving
delicious renditions of

somewhat off of the
beaten path for most
tourists -- but definitely
worth the trip.

Coral Bay was the
original capitol of the
island, when it was
under Dutch rule.  
When the United States
purchased the Virgin
Islands (St. John, St.
Thomas and St. Croix),
the capitol was moved
to Cruz Bay. Coral Bay is
home to many who have
lived on the island for
generations.  It has also
attracted an electic
crew of sailors and
adventurers trying to
get away from what we
generally consider to
be "civilization".
