This audio CD contains the enchanting melodies of Caribbean tree frogs, birds and insects captured as night turns into day in the US Virgin Islands National Park, on the Caribbean island of St. John.
The photos on the face of the CD include one of the tiny Caribbean tree frogs -- one who may likely have been a performer on this CD. This small photo shows him just about life-size, hiding in a crevice in a palm tree, where he sings to attract a mate, from dusk until the Caribbean Dawn.
The palm trees at dusk were photographed just as the tree frogs begin their nightly chorus. The view is over Caneel Bay, looking towards St. Thomas.
The red hibiscus and the yellow-centered frangipani blossoms dot the landscape of Saint John, adding tropical color to this alluring island.
The Virgin Islands National Park covers roughly 2/3 of St John, and includes numerous sandy beaches. You may even see a lovely pink queen conch shell when you visit these beaches -- or a sailboat anchored just off the beach.
